Mike Garson was my piano teacher when my name was Bonnie. I think we started on St Paul's Court to East 7th Street. He was hired by my parents to be my private teacher. He taught me Watermelon Man, Along the Watchtower and Bumble Boogie. He was in the group Bretheren. They rehearsed at Baggies, along with Edgar Winer, Johnny Thunders, Kenny Aaronson and Five Dollar Shoes. I date drummer Greg Diamond for a while and hung with Chuck Ruff of Edgar Winter group.

Aladdin Sane and Lady Grinning Soul….the piano still sounds new even now. Bowie got really lucky with his musicians…but then again it couldn’t have always been luck. Elton John was right about DB he was a vampire. And a brilliant one
