And today we're gonna be taking a look at the speed and performance of surf shark so that you guys can hopefully get a bit of a rough idea of what the VPN performs like at the moment. So I went ahead and taken the liberty already to kind of test a whole bunch of servers across the globe, you know, we've got Brazil, the States, Germany, and the last one was to the Far East in Australia. So without further ado, let's get this started. If you guys are interested now, my basic or my initial speed, my base speed would be five point 69 megabits per second in this test, of course, keep in mind, within the speed tests, every time you redo the speed tests, it picks up a different server and shows a different result. Though these results wouldn't be too different, you know, give or take maybe 0.5 megabits per second, maybe 0.123 depends. So consider this little tests here to be about 80% accurate, it cannot be 100% accurate no matter what test it is. So it all depends on which server you're connecting to. If it's a physical server, or a virtual server, your ISP, your own connection, if it's WiFi or land, so there are quite a few, let's say factors that determine your speed. So in the speed test, my download speed is that five point megabits per second, five point 69 megabits per second. So I don't want any more decrease any any decrease in speed, because I already don't have the most impressive download speeds. So what I'm going to do is, of course, use the wireguard protocol, which will be the fastest protocol, because it's a true wireguard protocol. And besides that, let's start with New York here, excuse me, Germany. So Berlin here, as you can tell, I got four point 97 megabits per second, from my five point 69 megabits per second. So if you didn't know, anything between 10 to 20%, in have a drop in speed is considered quite good. So what have we got here is a 12 point 65% decrease in speed, which is not bad at all. In fact, it's considered to be very, very good. Considering that it's below 20%. Now, it's a nearby server. But you know, it could happen. Maybe if I refresh and do the tests, again, I might, I might get maybe somewhere around 5.2, maybe five point 12 5.05. So again, consider this test and all tests about 80% accurate, a cannot be 100% accurate. So again, the first speed test, which would be in Berlin, which is within the area, I'm within the area, let's just say that, and it's a nearby servers. So not bad at all from five point 69 to four point 97, which is a 12 point 65% decrease. We've got the next server here in Melbourne, which is much further away, but still seems like we got a very good result here at five point 14 megabits per second, which ends up being a nine point 66% decrease in speed. Of course, we have a slightly slower upload speed here and then the other server here in Berlin, which makes sense considering the distance and of course, the ping complete a took a complete dive, which also makes sense.
