I really hope venture doesn't get buffed because they're already somewhat strong and fun. It would be a shame for them to get over buffed and have another sojourn or mauga situation were everyone hates them because of how strong they are

YES THIS IS WHAT IVE BEEN SAYING!! they are one of if not the best designed hero to be added. this type of kit is the reason that people play overwatch, I really hope that we keep seeing this type of decisions from the devs

Having a higher skill expression in terms of raw aim would put this hero higher in the well designed list. For me, I can just play Venture without a lot of forethought and plan into a fight and still get value and get out easily. Tracer players need to be aware and spend some time setting up as well as tracking skills, blink and recall management, distancing and blink efficiency just pushes Tracer over that edge to be an S tier hero for me

You know, with Venture's release, it would give me a trio of heroes to play depending on the comp. I have a brawl-poke dps and a poke-dive dps, but I don't have a dive-brawl dps yet. Venture would complete the set.

venture is the first dps hero i've played since dps doomfist. with tank being terrible i've taken it upon myself to just one trick venture till i start going on a hard lose streak :)

Mei/Venture is something I hadn't even thought about, but, if Venture does become meta, that is how. A good Venture and Mei can be unkillable, and control a lot of space. Basically 5v5 GOATs.

@Kajor I have a question. Do you think with Ventures Kit Can they Be Played in a Hybrid comp as a Peel option? As a peel Style for a specific comp let's say a Sigma DPS #1: ( Torb, Bastion, Sojourn, Cree or Hanzo ) Dps#2: Venture Baptiste, Zen. Where they can Swap between Disrupting the enemies front line engagement or Their back line and drilling back too the team Or Peeling for the Sig / Supports all while having Harmony orb the entire time.

Besides just buffing the damage to make them broken on release what else do you see them doing? As I would not be that surprised if we see either a faster initial burrow animation or make them un-cc able in the animation. I don't see them touching the cooldowns or even burrow speed for some reason.

Was a doom main in ow1 and still am a doom main in ow2. I think i might start maining venture. on tank doom you can be zbra and still lose if your team refuses to follow up.

Are they good because no one is used to playing them yet, or actually good? Because i was destroying Venture everytime i went against one, it was ridiculous. Then i saw online that folks considered them good.

I just out ranged them, and that was pretty much it. 😂

His design means something imo. More dive characters so must be how they want OW2 to play.
