I played Venture in Overwatch 2 and learned something shocking…

I'm not very far into the video yet so IDK if it's been mentioned, but if you are drilling underground you can press the drill dash button for a burst of speed and the cool down is less than normal.

Edit: a good combo is it to drill underground and drill dash, then wait for the last second before you you are forced out of the ground and hold the jump button to charge the jump. Once you do this your drill will be off cool down again.

The Shoot + Drill Dash + Shoot + Melee Combo is insane. You can miss one of the shots or melee and still kill a squishy. Then just burrow and exit with 325 health.
The tradeoff here is that you need to be close to the enemy initially for it to be safe, else your burrow won't be ready.

I’m a huge Doom fan and at the hardest difficulty Venture’s movement is near identical. Your CD’s help you flow in combat and can let you close in on fleeing/low hp targets very quickly and very easily

Said it before and I'll say it again. Venture is DPS Doomfist without any stuns, Seismic Slam as the ultimate but with multiple charges and the shift ability as both punch and uppercut at once. Burrow exit is uppercut.
