I own Lexus ES 300H and its the best decision I ever made and by far the best car I have owned for my day to day application. If you like going to a mechanic regulary and like having your car sit at a mechanic shop on a regular basis, then ES is not the car for you. If you like going to the gas pump every 4 days then ES not the car for you. If your like your rear to feel every single little bump on the road then ES is not the car for you. If you are looking for a quick depreciating asset that can go to zero then Lexus ES might not be for you.

I own a 2017 Lexus ES350 with the V6, acceleration and fuel economy is excellent. After 7 years only routine maintenance and tires. Very happy with purchase.

My 5 reasons you SHOULD NOT buy a Lexus ES

1. You do not want to go long stretches with out seeing the dealership. How come the European car owners get to have all the fun?
2. You miss seeing the check engine light on a regular basis.
3. Too much Resale value is never a good thing.
4. Who needs all that comfort?
5. Good enough fuel economy is for losers.
Bonus: You're used to toxic relationships and get bored when things just work!

I had a camry for almost a decade and then after that I upgraded to a Lexus ES. I will probably be buying another car in the next 12 months. Sometimes other car makers turn my head but if I'm looking at the experience I've had with my current Lexus I just don't see myself going to another car company.

Jeez! Do people even know the meaning of 'slow' anymore? Car reviewers kill me with this. I literally sat in a 2016 or 17 ES and saw it take off when the 'sport ' button was turned. Never knew the ES was that fast. Is it faster than other luxury cars out there? Not really, but using the term 'slow' as car reviewers do sounds dumb. They even call a GS slow just because it doesn't compare to its rivals. You guys dont get to change the meaning or use of a word, the way you all seem fit.
