My emergency saving fund disappeared within the 1st 5 months of the pandemic. Now my automatic savings transfer gets manually transfered back into my main account by me so I don't get charged for going too far into my overdraft. I'll come back and watch when I'm actually able to save again. 👍

When I was in my 20s I spent money on unnecessary things: telescope, electric guitar, new speakers every year, etc. And I almost don't use all this stuff. And only in my 30s I thought: if I didn't spent all this money, but invest it, I'd triple this money in 3-5 years! But unfortunately you can't go back in time. But better late than never.

I want her to keep talking, , , and I listen. There is something extremely charismatic in her voice and tone.

I think it's right that passive systems work due to our tendency to inertia. But I think it's difficult to save just by inertia as for most of us it requires positive acts of planning and prioritisation. The good news is that when you succeed in embedding a new habit it tends to become a reflex even where at first it requires a lot of effort.

Do not multitask because, frankly, you can’t. I have never seen anyone do it effectively.

What i do is i buy the last piece of clothing in the internet-shop at 95% discount. Sometimes the items i want are gone before i buy them. But knowing that i save for pension warms up my heart and i believe i will get even better items in future

everything depends on ur income when thinking about number of saving acct.
- First have two Saving account beside ur main account.
- Put away enough but not to hinder ur living expense which cause u to go into ur savings.
- everytime u get a income tax/extra money from somewhere, divide it up and place it within ur accounts. Keep doing this infinite.
- when u get a raise, build ur saving amount up 👆 ex. 200 saving, u get a raise add partial to that and now u saving 225 a month

This is pretty good. Add to the auto savings a small automatic increase on a periodic basis; say, 2% every 60 days.

Once you automate your saving, you don't really have to just focus on one at a time. Prioritize your savings however works for you, and then set it and forget it.
