With today's gasolines that uses 10% ethanol as a detergent or whatever you want to call it this is becoming a common problem for old school engines and there is a very inexpensive quick fix without the hassle of running new lines and all that nonsense.

I have a 78 ford truck 300 6. Had the same problem and did the same thing and it fixed it.

Have you tried the insulator for the mechanical fuel pump? Similar the the insulator that you would use between the carb and intake manifold

Ay man I appreciate your video, I seen all the videos on adding in that vapor filter but nothing on how todo it if your pump already has a return line and I wasn't sure if I could just cap it off from the pump and run the return from the filter. I'll be doing this today!!!

Yeah I've experienced the same problem on a 1978 ford ltd with the 5.8 drove it for a half hour to car show ran great all the way there and on the way home is when it started stalling out like never got it start and it felt like it had bad missfire lucky I made it home the dreaded vapor lock

Is the return a small line or the other line
