In my opinion the quality of your reviews, regarding video-Quality, camera-setup, drone footage, slow-mo etc. ... is the actuall benchmark of testing Videos on Youtube. It´s even BETTER than stuff from channels like GMBN oder EMBN (sorry guys i really like your work! But Rob make such a good job) .. So, i follow you since 4 years now and the evolution of your videos is massive! Hands up for your work and time on all these reviews and also to your research and enhanced information you gave the viewer. Cheers! :)

Very impressed by your video quality👍💪(not so much by the bike itself but thats just me). One sees that you put a lot of work and passion into this videos. You really honor the bikes and its companies by delivering such high quality stuff.

Funny, even if you're not interested in the bike, you still watch Rob's videos anyway, for two reasons:
1. The production is so good, you get a great mountain biking fix. Locations were great in this one
2. You may well hear a tip / get some insight you didn't know, as he gets into detail riders want
👌👌

These prices are still absolutely staggering. Judging by the sales Specialized were having towards the end of the year I'm guessing the up take for over priced bikes is dropping off. Just to remind you this S-Works bike is only £3k off a Ducati V2

You came to test the new machine in my backyard, I am happy, because Sintra has fantastic trails and where it is possible to test all the capabilities of this new bike. Another excellent video.

Thanks, this appears to be the perfect bike to buy my wife to ride around town.

I may borrow it a lot.

Hey Rob, thanks for once more the most comprehensive video of a new bike on YouTube!

Did you weigh your S5 and are allowed to tell how much it actually weighs? I suppose 17.7 isn't the S5's weight.

Thanks!

Great looking bike and the trials there look very lush . Here in NSW, AUs its very rocky and very unforgiving if you fall (basically on rock). Great article !!

You're shifting sounds louder so ebikes are definitely heading in the right direction. This with a range extender could be a great trail exploration weapon. This makes me consider the dark side of ebikes.

Thanks Rob. Especially for having tried the 29" rear wheel. Really like the 29"/29" setup on my current SL.

Thanks for the review Rob! Well produced! I find it difficult to sit through most reviews due to lack of substance and overly chatty speakers. This one on the other hand was informative, fact filled and minimal fluff. Thank you!!!!

What a bike. Just what was needed. Wonder will they offer motor upgrades to those with 35 NM motors?

I hope they bring this new tech to Kenevo SL!

Excellent quality video from the pictures and style. Definetly liked that you tried the 29er config. However, a comparison to the TREK is what everybody is interested in, mayber you can do that in the future. There is one point regarding the battery, you mentioned that in the Gen 1 SL the battery could not be removed, which is actually not correct, it was removable, which is important for flying. So the question is, does this hold for the Gen 2 SL or is this no longer the case? Keep up the great work!

Great review Rob. Specialized we’re the pioneers, pathfinder’s of e-bikes and we have a lot to thank them for. However, I feel this bike is for the Specialized diehards, as there ecosystem is lagging behind TQ’s. Their motors are virtually silent and the display integration is much nicer. That SL motor sounds as loud as my full fat Levo. Perhaps Specialized realise they are loosing market share and punted this out as a stop gap and they need to address their excessive pricing.

I appreciate the effort you put in these videos. The go to for reviews. New SL or Fuel EXE? What would be the better, closer to enduro out of those 2?

Love the the look of this black bike. It is mint. Spec trumps the competition again.

I just hope these motors are more durable. I am averaging replacing at least one specialize motor every week at my shop. And I have had to warranty two batteries so far this week.😊
