I have a lot of important things in the Unnecessary Studio but my most prized invention is my Gator Grips! So today I am building a booby trap box using smoke grenades to ensure that no one will ever steal them and if they try they will be in for a rude awakening!

The external hinge means someone could theoretically pop the hinge pin to defeat the mechanism. Are you telling me this isn't a tutorial on creating hyper secure containers!? ;)

I would have used an internal hinge. To easy to open it from the outside by going through the hinge.

I though there would be a latch holding the T-brackets in place. That way you only need one motion to disengage both latches and the brackets would stay in place when not in use.
He could have tension in the paracord with the box open, then close the lid and engage the latch. Also, the smoke grenades would set off much earlier.

The way he did it seemed complex and unnecessary, oh wait. 😂😂 Great video
