I haven’t finished yet but I know I’m going to forget things! Thank you so much for your unwavering support of Matt and I and speaking on our behalf. It sucks because I’m so empathetic towards the people who haven’t gotten one yet, because I’ve been there before with other shops, but there’s only so much my husband can physically do. We ended up putting off packing boxes until Sunday morning because the mental and emotional strain after the drop on Saturday kind of took all the energy from us. 🤷🏻‍♀️
I am a fellow migraine sufferer and feel your pain! I’m also a lot like you in that I can sense what’s going to just be a headache and what’s going to grow to migraine status and can usually nip it in the bud but have made the mistake of thinking “I can sleep off this small headache” and sleeping through all the cues before it’s full blown. I actually had one this morning and was able to take my migraine cocktail (finally got an ER doctor to prescribe me what they give in pill form, as I don’t have anything else that works, I would always have to go to urgent care or ER for a migraine to get any relief). But I lost so much diamond painting time sleeping off the migraine and meds 😩
Matt and I both yell quite a bit and are also working on it. Matt is more intense than I am because he has this real deep, stern voice he puts on that’s kind of terrifying. We came up with the idea of using a complete innocuous word to let the other know when they were getting too loud so they could take that second to be aware of the escalation. Our word was “yellow” because you’re headed for the red rage zone. I don’t know if you guys have that or think it could help your family, but I wanted to throw that out there. :)

This is a new craft to me. This is really intense. But a simple and direct thing to do. Znd i can understand its therapeutic value. It makes me think of a craft from the 70s, that now would be collectable and/or hard to find. I like this color palette. I think the super bright ones would be too much strain on my eyes! Because of my disability, i cant bend my neck, but i can see how this could be done on a slant. Ive been watching you do this corner square. It would be a fun winter project.

It was good to hear you make the gentle reminder about being kind to small businesses and to just be kind in general.

I also get super weirded out when people from my “real life” find my craft accounts. I actually don’t have regular social media, just the craft sites and literally nobody Im close to is into crafts so I feel like I’m always sending them explanations to why I post things!

If you want to be a colorstreet rep for the discount, go for it! Just be super clear with your up line! About 6 years ago I got talked into going all out for a direct sales company and it was a horrible experience. There was so much going on behind the scenes and luckily I got out after just a few months. They are totally not for me. I typically don’t tell people I was ever involved in one as I feel a little ashamed for some reason!

🐇🐇🐇🐇 Sorry to hear you are a fellow migraine sufferer 🥺 💔 I find the only thing that helps me the most when I get a migraine is laying down with an icepack on my head in a dark room with earplugs ❄ That and zofran for the nausea. Hope you don't get them too often, they are truly debilitating.

Thank you for mentioning being patient with small business owners. It is so hard to please everyone, and we all put a lot of hard work into the products we are able to make.
I also suffer from crippling migraines, and it is horrible when they happen, since your whole life stops until it gets better. Excedrin migraine definitely helps, but sometimes I need to take Toradol (prescription) to relieve the pain.
Funny story. None of my personal friends except for my best friend, know that I have a YT channel, Instagram, Etsy shop and FB groups. I like to keep it separate, so that I do not feel my friends are judging me. My family knows about all of it, but they do not watch any videos. So to answer your question, no, I do not think it is weird that you feel uncomfortable.
Just an FYI, I have a friend that sells Colorstreet (I am a big fan and buy a lot of them), and she has to meet a minimum requirement of $300 per month to stay as a sales rep. I think that is way too high for a $12 product, and it would make me feel like I would be spending all my time promoting it. Just my opinion, it is not worth it.
Thank you for keeping me company today while I tried to diamond paint. Oh, BTW, my husband and I watched Adam's video, and we both think it is very cool! 💜

I worked on "Queen" by Anna Dittmann while listening to your WIP & Chat. I did see Lindsay's video on her HAED blank canvas. I was excited to see her video because I just requested my own blank canvas. I decided to get the blank canvas from HAED. I am waiting until Michelle posts the link for me to be able to purchase it. Probably will be a couple of months before I get the canvas. I requested a mini of the regular chart because it would've been 100x127. I'm not sure what size the mini will be because it has not been created yet.

I was excited and surprised to see my name already in DIYmoon Shop's roll call. I was thinking I was not going to get my canvases until April.

My son will be 2 in May. He has started the habit of putting his fingers in his mouth. Slobber is now on everything he touches. Wish I could get him to stop.

I do have an Instagram account but it is only to share my diamond painting finishes. Only my husband knows about it. I've told some friends about diamond painting and even given them links to videos but I don't think they have purchased any. I also bought my mom a Diamond Dotz kit but she has not finished it.

I am not bothered by videos being released daily. I can decide to watch them at my own pace. 🐰
