Arduino connected to a GPS sensor gy-neo6mv2
and a Data Logger Module Shield V1.0
write data to a logfile and import it in google maps.

Missing is the retrieval of time from the GPS to set the RTC clock. The satellite has a more accurate time and could set itself each time it is launched. Well done!

Is it me, or is your diagram wrong...you said in the video you need the 4.7K resistor on RX...green wire...but in your figure, green is connected to Analog 3...which you are calling TX.  The audio makes more sense than the diagram (i.e. I would understand why you want to limit the current going into RX...).   Nice video nonetheless.

hi, do you need a Sim card to make it work or you can simply buy this components without buying a sim?
I don't understand if this is able to track a device which contained this or not.
Is it necessary to buy a SIM800L???
