DAVE KINDIG CRUISES IN 'Twelve Air' V-12 '53 Corvette! Triple Crown of Rodding 2024 Car Show Winner

Dave Kindig and Kindigit Designs take home back to back Street Machine of the Year awards at the 2nd Annual Triple Crown of Rodding for their 1953 Corvette Corvair Concept build.

This build features a hand formed Unibody , 9.2L LS Based V12 engine , Corvette Z06 8speed Automatic Transaxle , custom 20 x 8/ 21 x 12" wheels , custom interior and a beautiful candy apple red paint job.

This ride has been winning numerous awards since its debut such as the Riddler Award of Detroit Autorama , which owners Dave and Tracy Maxwell set out to accomplish over the course of the 4 year build.

I get tired of people calling this 'A 53 Corvette' or 'Restomod' it isnt. Its a Kindigit Design one off built from the ground up. I mean, it aluminium ffs! Even Chevy didnt do that! I don't think Dave and the Kindigit crew get the kudos they truly deserve for this. The same with his CF1s, they're brand new vehicles, not restored or modified. Restoring and customising vehicles is one thing and there are shops that are unbelievably good at it, but is on another level.

This has to be one of the greatest custom cars ever, Dave and the boys knocked it out of the park, and some. He has some of the greatest automotive technicians, I’ve been watching Kindigit designs for years, they went next level with this build . The crowning jewel, the Aussie designed LS V12, these motors can make incredible horsepower. Love from down under.

I'm 70 and followed Chip Foose, Ring Bros for 35-40 years, considered them the best. I've kept up with Kindig for about 20, and in my view, he's now the BEST at this!

I seen the very beginning of the 53 concept convertible that Kendig build and almost everyone that he built for customers, but this car V12 hardtop out shines all the other cars, it’s a true super car ! I hope Dave makes it part of the new lineup and available to whoever wants one ! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
