Imma just leave this comment here: You dont think that the God of the Universe, who created every language, would've not known his Sons name would've been translated into many versions? Hes right on one point. If you asked around back then for Jesus, no one else but Jesus would know who you are looking for or talking about. If you called out Jesus to him, i think he would know. As God is eternal, before and after time. He knows all.

If his name was not Jesus and it’s wrong to call him that because his name has been translated from Yeshua, then every word in the Bible is also wrong because it was translated form a past language. Saying Jesus is not using the Lord’s name in vain, it’s saying his name in a translated state, which is still his name just in a different language. There is nothing wrong with saying Jesus, because God knows all things and doesn’t just hear and speak on language .
