As much as I love his optimism, he's clearly had the sherry or something. There's a few main things that have to happen this summer. 1 the Board entirely need to go, 2 if a possible takeover happens then they need to set some standards at this club, 3 give Sean Dyche the right backing (sensible recruitment) to start moving us forward gradually and 4 Stability but I've been saying that for 6 to 7 years

I remember feeling the same about my club but he’ll quickly come round .
If the side hasn’t got anything to build around and it’s a complete overhaul then all they’ll have to rely on is luck alone !!
Turning Everton’s ship around is going to take 5+ years and that’s just for stability. Going down probably could of done Everton some good because building a new team in the prem is near on impossible. All the luck in the world to them as a team and the fans ! They deserve a bit of joy for once

As a City, going up and down the leagues in the 90s and early 00s was at least exciting. Promotions carry the same feeling as winning trophies. Everton fans must be bored stiff!

In my mind as a st holder, ill take 3-4 seasons of mid table. I remember one season under martinez when we lost 8 games at Goodison, and it was seen as unacceptable and a disgrace. Weve lost 10 this season. Before we do anything and dream of anything like Europe, we need to get away from these charges, sorting the finances and getting the new stadium up and running. Along with new representation on the board. Get the high earners out and get some young blood in the team. Branthwaite and Cannon back from loan, bring through Mills and Simms to the first team. Get the club in a stable position, then go again with a clear club philosophy, so we get players who suit the club, not just the managers

Every Club has idiot fans but too many of ours manage to get on public platforms to spout utter drivel. If we get recruitment right then it will be a slow climb. 10th to 12th would be massive from where we are now.
You can see how far behind we are when we have fans invading the pitch for avoiding relegation for a second time. It was relief to stay up but most fans did not ‘celebrate’ like that. There is a heavy mix of relief, anger and disgust.

The third caller is the only one with some sense. I agree with everything he said. We need to keep Garner, McNeil, Pickford, Doucoure, Coady, Tarkowski, but a lot of the other players we need to replace. We will be lucky if we finish above 14th next year so much needs to change.

worst thing is this is like the 4th or 5th everton fan i ve seen that is predicting fans are spoilt !! u avoided relegation by the skin of ur teeth twice in the last 2 seasons...u confront players in public, supposdly threathen the lives of the board who have pumped a stupid amount of money into the you think ur gonna finish 7th next season u think ur gonna get an extra 20 points !!!... please u won 8 games this season ffs !!!
