The 2025 Audi RS 6 Avant Performance ($168,880 as specced in Canada, $145,645 in the US) had seen some changes to go along with the new ‘Performance’ name added last year. This includes more horsepower and torque - up to 621 hp and 627 lb ft respectively, less sound insulation, a lighter and smaller differential, a more ‘emotional’ transmission, and some design tweaks among other changes. But does the new RS 6 live up to what you might expect of a Performance Audi? And does it still have that sleeper wagon status? Thomas and James can’t wait to find out! We hope you enjoy the episode. The RS6 hasn't aged a day since it came out, looks brand new still. Just like James one might say

*My immediate thoughts when seeing a fast wagon* "Oh hell yeah"

Speaking of the new M5 Wagon, BMW just said in the US it is accounting for 50% of the 2025 M5 sales so far... which is far higher than BMW estimated. Wagons are badass.

Honestly, in this spec, it definitely looks a lot more grown up “dad wagon”, even with the crayon grey paint. It’s very understated. To the average Joe it’s just an Audi. However spending £130k spec’d up like this, I think you could definitely do a lot worse, but could do an awful lot better.

A few days in an RS6 blew my mind. These cars are the perfect do everything vehicles. Thanks for reviewing the new one guys!

8:22 Agree: that was the best car interior that has ever been. The design, the feel of everything, that hideaway screen -- perfection.

About time.

My grenadine red S6 is stunning! I replaced the carbon wave on the dash and the piano black around the shifter with ash wood trim from the A6. Looks much better, stays clean, no glare.

This is my second Audi with the most recent dash, it works great, easy to navigate.

Altough it is slower than the M5 with an “outdated” yet still superior interior, it is truly the most beautiful wagon ever!

As a D4 S8 owner, I feel accomplished knowing Thomas agrees about the previous gen Audis... BEST INTERIORS OF ALL TIME

8:17 underrated comment. When I browse for cars, now I have to look at the interior pictures first to make sure it has physical controls before I even consider it.

The C8 RS6 is a lovely thing indeed. But as you said at 8:22, the previous C7/C7.5 generation was perfection. I enjoy my RS6 now for 5 years and every little button, feel, quality, hideaway screen, is just perfect.

The dream dad-mobile. I just bought a 22' S4, but I hope to afford one of these some day....

Panamera wagon should feature in the wagon-off.

Even as a Mercedes owner you can't argue over the looks of this... the RS6 is the ultimate wagon and will be. The E63 for me has to be a sedan
