This is the greatest Audi RS EVER!

This is the all-new Audi RS6 Performance!

Audi has updated the oh-so popular RS6 for 2023, and Mat’s about to find out just what has changed over the previous edition.

Starting with the design, the changes over the previous generation are minor - but that’s no bad thing! Across the front, back and sides, what was previously chrome trim has now changed to Matt grey, and the Audi badge at the front has now been blackened out. The car also comes with 22-inch alloys as standard. But otherwise, that’s all that’s changed! However, should you choose to go for the carbon pack, then the matt grey trim can be swapped to carbon instead.

Step inside and it’s a similar story to the exterior design. You’ll now find alcantara on the steering wheel, as well as blue stitching across the seats and seatbelts. You’ll also find some slightly updated dials and some additional tech, such as surround view camera, but otherwise the RS6 Performance is the same as the previous generation.

However, one area that has experienced quite a big change is the car’s performance! Although it comes with the same 4-litre twin-turbo V8 as before, it’s had bigger turbos fitted to it. As a result, horsepower and torque have been increased by 30hp & 50Nm respectively, meaning the car now produced 630hp and 850Nm!

But of course, all these changes don’t come cheap. The Audi RS6 Performance starts at £20,000 more than the previous edition, meaning you’ll be paying from £113,000 to pick one up! So is it worth it? You’ll need to stick with Mat and see for yourself!

Audi RS6, BMW M5 or AMG E63 Estate... Which is best?

Audi did exactly what old rs6 was missing, more turbo pressure more hp and better handling! Great job

I had an RS6 back in 2004, absolutely loved it. This is just taking it up a few notches.
I’ve had BMW’s and driven a few mercs. I’d have this over them every time

Still remains the best looking estate car on the market.
Good job!

Bought an RS6 earlier this year and unlike any other car I've owned, the smile that I had on my face the first time I drove it hasn't gone away. It has absolutely no business being as quick as it is. It just chews up the road in front of you.

As an all rounder, it's the best car ever made. The performance is spectacular - pretty close to supercar level, it looks beautiful yet not overly showy and its practical. Try sticking the kids in the back, dogs in the boot and luggage on the roof in a Ferrari Roma. Yet the Audi can do all of that, is somehow quicker and £80k cheaper.

Good job, Audi.

I think Audi has the best estate cars.
They’re so fast and you have so much space.
Also the design is flawless.
Great job Audi.

I don't know why but I love how the suspension is working under the weight of the chassis in turns

The design of the A6 in general is pretty neat but this RS version just takes it one further in my opinion especially in that bright red. I think this is the perfect estate vehicle (in my opinion).

I had an early V8 RS6, that used to average 11or 12 mpg but was about 200bhp less, so I guess they have evolved!!

I'd get the RS6 any day, it's the best looking estate of the lot. I'd go with an M5 or E63 if I wanted a sedan though

I think if you just want a 1 car collection, this is the best one you can get. Practical for any situation or environment, awesome looking, fast, sporty. Just wish it was in my price range

~3.2 0-60mph is really good. Car is without carbon ceramics those would make it even quicker.
Love the RS7, def the best looking car

It is even better, with lighter weight and better handling and performance.

If this car wasn’t so damn heavy, it would run 10s in the 1/4. Still too heavy, let’s hope the hardcore RS6 GT will take this even further.

I love my 22’ RS6 but I am over 750hp with simple APR tune, CTS pipes, APR intake. It’s a beast! Same color too and I have every option the RS package I have is one of my favorite with all the alcantara!

3 things I do hate though even though it’s my favorite daily 1. No remote start is absolutely bullshit! 2. No storage in cabin! WTH Audi? No pockets, storage bins for sunglasses etx. 3. Fuel tank size is a joke. Yea I get 24-25 mpg cruising freeway but around town having fun 6-10mpg I don’t care because I like driving it this way but I hate stopping so often to fill up. You doubled the HP stock over A6 but left same tank? Come on.
