My bought my certified used car in 2012….it’s 12 years old, I haven’t had a car payment in 10 years. I keep up with all the maintenance and Thank God it runs like a charm!

We started out in a 1960s single wide. Both worked, budgeted, saved and lived on less than we made. This year we bought for cash a beautiful 3700 sf rancher in Texas with an attached 4 car and RV garage on a small acreage. Never dreamed this in my 20s. Does happen with consistent work and dedication. Follow his plan and believe.

Dave. what’s wrong with being middle-class? In this class, I have been truly blessed. If I wanted to be wealthy, I would be wealthy however, I do not serve that master. I only serve one master and He has provided exceedingly abundantly.

Pure Class! I drive a 2008 Corolla (bought in 2020). Paid cash for it, and so far only replaced its battery and one engine mount. I wanted to change both, but I was somehow convinced by my Toyota Dealer that you don’t need to replace both. Four years later. All is fine. I could have easily afforded much better, but I wanted to pay off other debts first. Now, I have to change my A/C, and I am fine with that.

We live on an older golf course in a upper middle-class neighborhood. We purchased our home nine years ago, a bank owned foreclosure. It had no updating - built in 1967, and to this day, we drive an eight-year-old Toyota Camry that we bought when it was three years old, it is now paid off. And we also drive an 11-year-old suburban that we purchased at six years old. Two very decent, very well-maintained, older cars. And a Shelby Cobra. And a free and clear vacation home. And we have a net worth of over $1 million.
I still shop at thrift stores.
