Rest In Peace, Alexi. It's so weird. I'm utterly devastated at Alexi's tragic passing, but listening to this incredible song that he wrote isn't really making me sad. It's like the power of the music makes me feel so good that it's somehow enough to offset the sadness that knowing its brilliant creator is no longer with us. I'm not sure if that makes sense.

As for the song itself, man, the guitar harmony in the chorus is just one of the best things I've ever heard. It's fucking badass and beautiful at the same time. I honestly feel like anyone should be able to listen to that and recognize its quality, it's simply transcendent in my opinion.

I have the album on cd and at 0:38 he does an awesome scream before the verse. I can't find that version anywhere online but I have it on my cd so grateful I had most of their albums and grew up still buying physical media
