tipp: you can wait 1 or 2 minutes on door 49 so the books will the shown by the guidning light

I have a very good tip: When I was playing door 50, I realized that it depends on where you’re walking, and that only will alter his path. I stayed in a safe corner for like 40 secs one time, and I noticed figure going on the same path repeatedly, but when I went downstairs right (I forgot a book there), figure was going in a pretty different path.
NOTE: You can alter his path by making noise and letting him chase you
So his path isn’t set and it sometimes changes. Hope this helps!

his pattern actually varies because once he was looping between the map place and up in that room
while another time to the left after spawn and up in that room

technically its alright to go to the right side first. You just gotta make sure ur close to the closet.

what i do is go left immediately, check left and get paper, make my way up, search and if i need more i go right, if he’s near the top, i go to the left column of right side near it and if he comes in i go hide by the stairs

Actually, Figure’s path varies, one time he was going nowhere near the desk with the paper, but once he did and killed me because his arm touched me, and he doesn’t usually do that, so I think his path varies, but maybe the first one is more common? I don’t actually know.

At 100 door you can hide from figure after cutscean you can use crusifix and stuck figure for little time after run and hide by using crouch and he will go another where
