Exploring Switzerland means the Swiss Pass for many people and for others, renting a car in Switzerland could also be a choice to explore the beautiful country by road. In this video, I will show you both the options from an Indian tourist point of view. In this video, we will compare the Swiss rail pass and its benefits with the possibility of renting a car in Switzerland and taking the roads exploring it’s many beautiful towns and villages.

As an Indian vlogger and an Indian youtuber, I visited Switzerland on a budget trip and recorded my entire experience of a budget trip to Switzerland and even though I was a solo traveler to Switzerland and not many who go to Switzerland on a honeymoon or visit Switzerland with family, I still rented a car which came out to be cheaper than buying a Swiss Travel Pass.

I rented a car in Switzerland for Rs. 13,600 from Alamo car rental at Zurich airport and drove from Zurich to Geneva and on my way stopped at some of the prettiest cities and villages on my way.

It's amazing how you gather so much information for your trips. I live in Switzerland and all the information was correct. I would have still included some more driving rules as Indians never know them but that would be quite complicated. Good job

nice video. On the Swiss rail tickets, you missed the Swiss half rate card which halves the ticket prices to 50% and is valid for a month. Most travelers prefer this now. I think it's around 120 Euros per person.

And yeah i think one thing you forgot to mentioned.
In many European countries, to rent a car the driver should be over 25 years of age otherwise there would be a certain extra amount you have to pay which can hike your rental price upto 50% more...
But it will be mentioned in t&c clearly or during check out in the rental car website.
This might be useful for young travelers.
