In this video I will be sharing with you the MAUI HAWAII Top 10, and the best places to visit in Maui. I will be sharing my favorite hikes, beaches, towns, food, and so much more. There is so much to do here in Maui so I hope this video helps you find some great activities for your future trip.

After a few weeks exploring this Hawaiian island, I have compiled my 10 top places to visit in Maui Hawaii for your ultimate Maui travel guide. My number 10 recommendation is to hike the Waihee Ridge Trail. The Waihee Ridge Trail is no doubt one of the best hikes in Maui. It is a beautiful trail with constant views of lush green mountains and the beautiful blue ocean. At the top, you are standing with the clouds with insane 360 degree views.

Next on my Maui Hawaii Top 10 list is Kaanapali Beach. Kaanapali beach is a gorgeous white sand beach with crystal clear water in West Maui. On the North side of the beach is the famous Black Rock where you can go cliff jumping and snorkel with tropical fish.

Number 8 on my list of the best things to do in Maui is to visit Lahaina Town. Lahaina is just a short 10 minute drive from Kaanapali beach and is home to the beautiful Front Street. Front Street is lined with tons of cafes, restaurants, shops, and art galleries, and is a great place for a relaxing stroll. Lahaina is also home to the Banyan Tree Park where you can see some massive Banyan trees.

Nakalele Blowhole is another great place to visit in Maui. The Nakalele Blowhole is a giant blowhole in North West Maui that can shoot water over 100 feet into the air. It’s incredible!

Tin Roof is number 6 on my Maui Hawaii Top 10 List and is the ONLY restaurant that made my list. It is very affordable (especially by Hawaiian standards) and the food is absolutely delicious! My favorite dish is the Mochiko Chicken!

Next on my list is Maui’s Upcountry. Upcountry is a region in Maui with lots of farmland, beautiful landscapes, and quaint towns. Upcountry is a great place to escape the crowds and experience Maui like a local. My favorite town in Upcountry is Makawao, which is known for its art galleries and cowboy vibes. Komoda Bakery is a great place to try some fresh Malasadas and Espresso Mafia has some delicious coffee!

Number 4 on my list of the top 10 things to do in Maui Hawaii is the Red Sand Beach on the Road to Hana. The Red Sand Beach ACTUALLY has Red Sand. The beach is tucked away in a beautiful cove with crystal clear water and some great snorkeling!

Next on my list of the top things to do in Maui is to visit the Molokini Crater. The Molokini Crater is a beautiful rock Crater just off the south shore of Maui. It is a great place to go scuba diving or snorkeling to see some incredible marine life.

Visiting Mount Haleakala for sunrise is another great activity to do in Maui. You will be standing above the clouds, watching the sun slowly rise above the crater, lighting up the sky bright orange. It is the BEST sunrise not only in Maui, but also Hawaii.

My absolute favorite thing to do in Maui is to walk the Pipiwai Trail. The Pipiwai Trail takes us back to the Road to Hana and is a beautiful trail taking you past waterfalls and swimming holes, over bridges, and through the famous bamboo forest before reaching Waimoku Falls. Waimoku Falls is an incredible 400 foot waterfall surrounded by lush green and incredible rock formations. The Pipiwai Trail is an absolute MUST in Maui.

I hope this video was helpful for your future trip to Maui!

My husband and I are leaving in 2 days for Maui. As this will be our 4th trip out there, we've seen just about everything we can during our past trips (1999, 2003, 2009). Since we cannot hike due to a physical disability, we will instead check out Atlantis Submarines. No diving or snorkeling for me anymore, so a ride inside an actual submarine will be a great way to see the undersea world. Overall, this was a great video and the sites were breath taking. We did see Haleakala, just not at sunrise. Still a beautiful site even if mid-day. Don't forget to check out the Winery in Upcountry, as the pineapple wine is awesome!

Hey Matt, enjoyed the video! We will be in Maui the middle of April and would like to know which company you used for your Molokini scuba dive and would you recommend them for us?

So beautiful!! How much time do you think you need to visit all of these spots? Can they be squeezed into a few weeks?

Which mile is the bamboo area of Pipiwai trail? Reason I’m asking is because I don’t wanna do the whole 4mile hike to save time during the trip.

This was an interesting video. It would have been helpful if you showed each location on a map graphic, otherwise great job. Thank you.

Maui, known also as “The Valley Isle, ” is the second largest Hawaiian island. The island beloved for its world-famous beaches, the sacred Iao Valley, views of migrating humpback whales (during winter months), farm-to-table cuisine and the magnificent sunrise and sunset from Haleakala.

The trail to access Red Sand Beach (Kaihalulu) requires you to trespass on private property. Kaihalulu is a sacred and historically significant beach and should not be trampled and visited. It is the sacred birthing grounds of one of Maui's famous ali'i. There are hundreds of other beaches that is made to be visited.
