Thanks for this, btw my fob had two 2430s separated by a protective sheet that had instructions printed on it. I have a 2017 V60 CC

Instructions are fine, except my 2017 V60 requires 2 batteries in the fob; 1st battery goes in + side up, then an attached plastic/paper tab, then a 2nd 2430 goes on top, + side up. I hope this helps.

If yours has 2 batteries, the first is positive up and the 2nd is positive down. Note, in a previous reply I thought one battery was a spare. No. your need both batteries. 2430 battery.

Weird. My 2014 does not look like this. It has 2 batteries, one with the positive side up, and the otherone with the positive side down, the batteries are separated by a paper/plastic peice
