After having followed the DPReview team, it is really refreshing to see them branch out and do a "How to YouTube" series. Keep up the great work, your input on how to youtube is so great and funny.

Love the intrusive nature of the management

Going outdoors for me often makes me feel awkward. When people pass by, they often are curious to what I’m doing, which makes me blackout. So when I have a lot to say, I stay indoors. But the challenges you mentioned of filming outdoors makes the process of filming so much more fun and fulfilling! I want to shoot movies. indoor filming, to me, is more like making moving photo’s. Harry Potter photo’s 😉

In the field. Because photography happens when you walk out the door. Unless you are strictly a studio photographer. Shoot where the action is.

So it's come down to this. Chris is stuck at a desk, drinking while at work...and drinking hand sanitizer no less! What's the world become?

Great content as always and really like your delivery. it's tough that DPReview still has 265K subscribers inspite your arrival and channels doing not even half as good as you still get more subscribers :o(

How did you print that label ?

2:10 - Astronomical Units = the distance from Earth to the Sun (93, 000, 000 miles). Therefore, a lens of 46.3 AU would equate to focal length of 46.3 x 93, 000, 000, or, 4, 305, 900, 000 miles. In millimeters, that would be a 6, 929, 674, 329, 600, 000 mm lens. That is a quadrillion millimeter lens. :D

1) Good points made from experience.
2) I love that wine brand. Which snack food does it pair well with?

I really like look of videos that get out of the studio. As a solo shooter, though, I enjoy the convenience of a studio setting. At the moment, I'm combining the two with green screen nature backgrounds. Doing this in a 10x10 room is tricky, but doable.

It mainly depends on your channel topics and the topics of the video to film indoor or outdoor. The Pros and cons not really matter, as some things just make more sense film outdoor than indoor and vice versa.

Well, Chris sure drank the Kool-aid on that one, or something. Keeping it a good, clean family show.
