Bro, you give some of the best directions to the model that I’ve seen. I’ve learned a lot from watching your videos.
Personally I wish this was a rangefinder style camera like an XE camera

I just received it on Friday. To clarify, you can save seven custom settings (recipes). You then turn the film similation dial to C. Then program the back dial to custom settings, and you can quickly run through your recipes. So much fun.

It can exist. However, the biggest issue is its insanely high price. A few hundreds more and you can get an XT5. Not sure why Fuji placed it in such pricing range.

Thank you for this video and showing what this camera can do. I know many folks don’t like the SIM dial but I really enjoy it. It’s become part of my photo composition which suites me well. I really like the smaller footprint and the roundness of the camera. I wish it had weather sealing. I’m ok with not paying +$300 for the bigger more professional XT5. I used the savings to help fund the purchase of a lovely prime lens.

Biggest advantage over T5 is the integrated flash light. Somehow is same camera as T5 on near same price, a range style camera like x-E1 would be the biggest reason to buy new one.

Great masterclass in professional shooting and modelling. Useful view on XT50 too - I am tempted but it would be a toy / casual camera

The model and you did a very good shooting, and I like the results very much.
I don't need nor appreciate the left simulation dial, but it doesn't bother me. I do appreciate the small battery. 1st of all because I don't have to buy new batteries or charger, the on of my "old" x-t30 fit.
And no, I don't want a x-t5, to big and heavy for me.
By the way I NEVER make video ;-)

That was a very nice shoot, Sarah is very beautiful and charismatic and somehow I always think your photographer skills are sublimed on Fujifilm camera for some reason! :) I had the XT30 before, and this one seems to be on the continuation of it but the price tag is way too ridiculous, it's a no brainer to get the xt5 (unless you need a smaller body, but the xt5 is not that big anyway), for me it's xs20 all the way!

Loved this shoot, Lee. The hair rollers! The 70's! Orange! That was my time. I prefer the X-T5 for so many reasons (battery, dual cards, ISO dial, etc). That filtered light was amazing.

great review as always, what the différence on the 3 custom preset save on the film sim dial ? Can you create a "recipe customising a film look" and save it ?
I don't really understand what is possible with this custom button

Thanks for the great video! Do you know if I can shoot in raw and then apply different simulations/recipes in a photo editing app? Instead of making all adjustments on the camera itself.

nice video, i'm currently shooting with an x-pro3 but want to move to something newer with better auto focus and already have a few lenses but I feel the X-T5 is a bit too much for what I do. In comes the X-T50 and... it's great and all but as others have mentioned, at this price point why not just go all out and get the X-T5? I'm torn
