As someone who sees festering desire in every "recommended weapon" thing I see for a sword wielder I wish they would do this

In my honest opinion they should have re run of events every few updates. So people who put the work into getting the weapon don’t feel cheated. OR they make it a one use crafting recipe.

They even gave the Trial Albedo in the most recent event the Cinnabar Spindle and that just rubs salt in the wound even more.

At the very least once the game is finished as in the story can be completed there should be a ‘past event archive’ maybe inside the mondstadt library or maybe in the quest menu where you can buy past events with keys

They could do it like in Honkai, there's time capsules which bring back skins/weapons from old events and can be purchased

Dude, forreal. The biggest flex in genshin isn't having c6 characters or r5 5 star weapons. It's having all the event weapons

I think it would be better if they just re put out the events but as permanent quest or shop so you can get the weapon but also be able to go through the small story aspect of getting the weapon

I wish they did, I started playing when the festering desire sword event happened and I didn’t know what refines were, so I didn’t get them all

They should make like event quest we need to unlock with keys like for an event you need 3 and ofcourse your not getting like 720 primos etc. but it would act as a normal quest. Give you then usual and the more you progress the event items would be given to you minus the extra stuff just the main stuff from event and the few primos of a quest.

I have every one but festering desire, I remember logging on after a break on the last day of its event. I would die for one of these, even if it is just one weapon or refinement piece a month
