Have the s10 5g and just received the one ui 4.0 this january and don't know what samsung did but battery life has been amazingly improved.
Hope to get this update soon for smoother experience.

Finally got the Android 12 One UI 4 update for my note 20u on the 25th up here in Canada. My favorite part is the media controls on the lock screen and the fact that my fingerprint sensor send to work properly now.

I got the One UI 4.0 update and before, my phone had no problem lasting almost 2 days. Now it will barely last 3 hours. I also just got a security patch (Jan 12) so I am hoping something is in there to assist the battery life. But I am starting to see what is going on. Right before the new phone comes out, we get a major update that KILLS battery life (Android 4.0) But the new Samsungs will get 4.1 and run MUCH SMOOTHER. I believe this is a push to get us to buy the new phones because they know how to write software by now so this is no accident.

I have a S20 Ultra with At&t and i Still have the update since November 1 :( still waiting for Android 12. I keep checking if i have a software update. Idk why all the s10s are starting to get there updates

Did anyone else experience a lag of UI if you unlock the device from the lock screen, but having the always on display on? If I wake the screen and unlock the problem dissappear. Thanks!

I have this update and another thing I noticed is in the gallery. With lower resolution photos (<1000 pixels on either axis) it seems to sharpen them automatically when viewing them.

I'll bet it has something to do with shortening your battery life. Since the update on my S10 I've had very very good battery. That just won't work for the industry, they need to screw it up so you have to buy another phone!

You are talking about 2nd update in january? We got the ONE UI4.0 on january 11th, that too with december patch, did not receive january patch as off now(note20 ultra in india)

Jimmy I'm freaking out. I haven't received an update in a long time I have the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 plus 5G. Still don't have Android 12 one UI 4.0

I got this update and one thing I realized have changed is the color of the toggles (Wifi, Bluetooth, etc..) in the light mode it becomes darker but when dark mode is on, the shade of the color becomes lighter. This happens if you're applying the color palette. It didn't happen to me before.

One UI 4 was released on a52 a while ago and it just really lags and drains a lot of battery. The animation wasn't smooth as before
