Two astronauts left behind on ISS as Boeing's Starliner capsule lands on earth empty

Boeing's first astronaut mission has ended with an empty capsule landing back on earth, leaving its two test pilots stuck in space until next year.

Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams will have to wait for SpaceX to bring them home, after Nasa determined that Boeing's capsule wasn't safe enough.

Boeing has had so many problems with its aircraft that it is surprising that it was selected for space missions. Hope the astronauts have no further issues.

I'd be interested to learn how the ISS will cater for 2 unexpected guests for 8 months. I don’t imagine there's much in the way of spare food or room up there.
