Thanks so much for this! We are thinking about putting wood fired hot tubs in at our glamping site but I think this has put me off!

At least when the electricity goes off you can still manage to heat the water; split wood would be better, round pieces retain a lot of moisture, the smoke shown is testament to that, dry wood can be burned much more cleanly; heating thenhouse and hot water, underfloor heating etc with biomass - if it's too hot, one can regulate the temperature too by adding a little cold water, if you're intelligent enough to think about that possibility..
