In this video Hali answers common questions: why wear the toe spacers & why switch to barefoot shoes. She used to wear METCONs & still does on occasion for olympic lifts but for every day wear & the majority of training she is either barefoot, has the toe spacers on or has barefoot shoes. Barefoot shoes allow for more space for the toes, something narrow toe box shoes do not do. Barefoot training & barefoot shoes also allow for more natural function of the feet. I’m curious, your feet are great now… why continue to wear toe spacers?
Obviously they take some getting used to, I’ve been wearing mine for over a year, but can’t seem to wear them for more than 5-6 hours.
I love those vivo hikers! I got myself and hubby a pair. He hates the laces and how they thread, but I love them.

My big toes are pushed inward from shies. I got barefoot and wear sandals as much as possible. Because of earlier bad habits my big and little toes are pushed inward. I’m 63; is it too late for this to help me?

On average, how many hours a day did you wear the toe spacers to get the improvement in your toes/feet (after a build up period) and how many hours a day on average do you wear them now?

Our feet were meant /created to be bare and that's why there are a number of sensors/nerve endings under our feet which connects to our entire body from top to toe. When we walk on sand, gravel and tiny stones/ pebbles, our entire body gets a stimulation through these sensors.Apart from that it allows your body to connect with the earth and absorb free Electrons from the earth's surface.
So why not get rid of all forms of footwear and just go barefoot ?? In whatever name you call and in whatever shape they come, they separate you from Mother Nature.
Think about it!! If you love your feet and soles like the rest of your body and want them to be happy and free, just go barefoot. They love to spread their toes and feel various textures of soil.
