Thank you! The comment regarding the need for internal action BEFORE external action was helpful.

Thank you for the encouragement to try new things. I always wanted to learn to crochet like my grandmother did. Finally, at age 71, I started a class with the local high school adult education program. I have finished several small projects and am now working on a beautiful afghan.

Completely agree. I found my creative spirit really ‘came out of deep hibernation’ at age 50 and decided that a whole new other side of me would steer my older years. It amazed me that in all the art groups I am in, they are practically dominated by seniors who want to remain purposeful, active and entrepreneurial through artistic activity. There arent enough hours in a day for us, no time to feel bored. For me, building an artistic seniorlife career and learning languages keep the brain sypnases actively sparked.
I have to say that these exposures are possible because of our global interconnectivity. As long as we have the means and access… learning new things everyday has no limits. I think my part fear of aging is the disconnect with technology that changes at a rapid rate… Our short lifespan devices are costing an arm and a leg to replace each time.

Thanks for another great video Cyn. I haven't been very uncreative in terms of the traditional arts, all my life although successful in many other ways. I just don't seem to have any talent as an artist, musician, designer, etc. Perhaps you could do a video about seeking out opportunities to find one's creative interests.

Action than thought moves you forward as you age. If not now, when? Is what I ask myself. Perfect time for reinventing yourself now that kids are grown, no boss is calling you on off hours?
