I saw Alex Hormozi speak live in person at an event in vegas and came to this conclusion. You should watch the video all the way through to understand how this all comes together.

Maybe it's all the psychedelics, but I just don't get what everyone sees in this guy. Like, yes, if you work 20 hours a day and sleep on the floor of your office and shit, you'll probably make a lot of money, is that the life you really want? I tried that shit in my 20's and it was great working 6 days 80 hours a week shitting blood from the stress while my wife was home alone with our baby... Burnout is a thing, careful boys, this whole grind or die mentality can and will kill ya.

I will summarise his course: “Dude, if you sell something for $100 and you run ads for $10, then just spend $1000 and will make $10, 000, then $1, 000, 000 and you’re now a millionaire.” Advice he doesn’t follow, but it’s basically just the underpants gnomes.

Here’s a list of lies:
1. He sold his company: No he didn’t, he raised money for his company, giving away almost all of it (that is NOT selling your business).
2. He has $100m - He is just basing this off the value of the company valuation.
3. He’s not selling you anything - Like, this is the most clear lie of them all, of course he is.
4. He’s helped 4-5 businesses get to $100, 000m. Umm, no, he has 3 brand names under one company then some photography company.
5. Then he says in his course when you call people to sell them, don’t say you’re selling to them, say: “I’m not selling you anything, then ask if they’re friends want to buy it” - This is not just a lie, it’s also shit advice. If you’re selling something or messaging a girl or whatever, don’t fuck around, just send the girl a kiss emoji or ask them if it’s something they’re willing to buy immediately. Why? Because you’re just going to waste your own time messaging them over and over having no idea if they want to buy it, so just find out right away then move on if they don’t. Anyway, he’s admitting he’s lying to them the same way he’s lying to everyone else.

The thing about liars is it always comes out and they drift off, it’s hard to feel sorry for anyone involved as they are being just as short term thinking as he is. Tai Lopez lied about being rich/having a ferrari, so did Tate, so did this guy. It works, for a short amount of time, then they become addicted to the validation/money and implode.

One of the manipulation tactics Hormozis use is called Selective Honesty. This means that he openly admits to the truth about something while lying about or not disclosing the rest. For example, he said he's on TRT (truth), but it's only 75mg/week (lie), and he made all of his gains naturally due to his genetics (lie).

What people need to understand is that Alex and Leila are master manipulators and salespeople.

Selective Honesty from the 48 Laws of Power: “You can often use an act of overt honesty and generosity to make your victim feel that you are honest and generous, thereby deceiving him, while your acts of dishonesty are covert and discreet.”

He has publicly stated that that is his model. There is literally no secret.
He has stated how he likes the model of "give give give ask" where you as a business owner provide so much value that people want to give you value back. He has made videos telling new business owners to follow this same model! Where's the scam?

its funny how people believe the numbers he said about selling his business, when there is no proof, just a paid for self published article about it

I returned his book because of some tactics that don't seem very ethical. I thought you might have some valid criticisms here based on the title, but it was a trick. Congratulations for a successful click bait.

You forgot to mention he also is selling you a book

Alex literally laid this out this plan on multiple podcasts. Not mind blowing, no lies, he’s literally told multiple interviewers this.

Not really mindblowing. As Hormozi teaches, I immediately broke down his motivation for making content when he clearly makes very little money from the AdSense. I came to the same conclusion, of course. But good video :)

This video is a Hawk Tuah to Alex. Dude click baited nasty. I would never watch another of your videos. Next time instead of hopping on someone’s name for clicks, make honest content.

You’re right.

He has something to sell you if you want to grow your business.

This clearly has the same production team as Alex and Leila, you can see the graphics and background beats are nearly the same.

If this guy was so successful as he pretends to be, why would he put so much time and effort in selling knowledge about how he got so successful. Why is he not busy being even more successful? Why does he want to earn some additional pennies compared to his other already existing wealth by teaching other people how to become as rich as he already is? Investing so much time into earning some pennies. Why is he not busy being the CEO of his companies? Normally, being the CEO of one company already takes more time than what one day has to offer. Why is he not just chilling his life with all his wealth but instead trying to earn some pennies?

If your net worth is over $100m you really don't need to be YouTube's bitch. True millionaires who make their money from their businesses don't need to pump YouTube videos all the time. If you're pumping content all the time, then YouTube IS YOUR BUSINESS.

😂 how much did he pay you to pump this

He’s like every other finance guru bro. What he selling you is the presumption of his competence and success. The brand is you believing that he’s a good businessman. The problem is that it’s marketing all the way down. And there are legions of people dazzled by outrageous claims of success, many of them business people their own right, who will take the bait. It’s pretty obvious the moment you stop feeling obligated to buy into this thankless burnout evangelism.

I understand you need the views but he has already told everyone about his plan in many podcasts and even talks about it openly in some videos
No hate though, tbh you caught my attention so you won
