While in the navy, we hit a hurricane with 70 ft waves( uss Pocono agc16) off east coast...had a tug tow us into Norfolk ship yard...fresh water was out.saild into the waves, ship shaked n shuddered.screw coming completely out of the water...on watch the whole time, , too scared to go below.everyone on board got sick....
