Finding an oil leak on my Ducati 1199 Panigale s | DIY oil change |

My motorcycle (Ducati 1199s) was smoking at stoplights and you could smell something burning. Once i got home i looked further into the situation and found the culprit. Thanks for watching.

Can I make a suggestion? Rotela isn't a motorcycle oil, it isn't good for wet clutches and clearances. Use a Motorcycle specific oil like a MOTUL 300V, slightly more expensive BUT this is an expensive motorcycle. Above all, read the owner's manual and see how they want you to measure the oil, temperature, waiting period for the oil to come down the sump, etc. My Aprilia for example needs a specific amount of oil, you must ride quite a few miles and then check again after a specific period of time. The dry sumps don't work like a car engine, there are check valves preventing the oil draining to the sump right away. Again, read the manual. Just my 2 cents.

Bro I have the same 1199, and I have oil leaking out of the tube\ drain hoes. Thoughs?

You need to take the right. cover off and re seal it.
Check your water pump gears while you are in there.
Engine Breather mod on left side worth doing.
