Why does this look like 90's CGI? Edit: To be clear, I'm not saying the event itself is fake. But surely they can afford better than this rendering?

This CGI sucks, at least add some stars.. Why call it Video when it is clearly an animation? and why have the workers cheering for an animation?

The amount of ignorant responses shows the quality of the audience here.

I am so excited to see the images we will be able to get from the James Webb.

Look, if NASA or ESA is having budget issues, I will gladly pay out of pocket for the best GoPro to hook up to these rockets or a nearby satellite. This is shameful.

For all those who don‘t get it. Yes, they used partly CGI to visualize the progress. Then they used the inbuild cameras, because - guess what - they didn‘t have an astronaut cameraman flying along.

Not to be pedantic, but this is not "Video of James Web Telescope in Space". It is an animation of James Web Telescope in space.

How come you see the Earth at one point and then is not there, and then it pops up again? all from the same angle.

Yeah watched it live this morning but congrats to the animator nailing the views thank the tech for the last second parts of the clip.

But if they can hit a asteroids moon they can accurately decide the animation

It's really sad how many people think this is fake. Can people not grasp that the first 45 seconds was an animation of what was taking place until the camera feed came in?

I won't be happy until I see this thing unfolded... Besides, isn't this thing supposed to be a million miles from Earth when it's all said and done? 🤔
