Relatively old song, but I just listened to it today. As someone who's come painfully close to suicide, you never really stop and think about the people you affect when you do it. The damage that suicide causes is like a bomb. The closer you are to the person, the worse the damage, and it took me a long time before I figured that out. This brought up a lot of painful memories and even brought me to tears, but honestly I've never been happier that I'm alive today. Thank you, Jake, for not only an amazing song but also an amazing message.

This song was on repeat for me for a while when I was at my lowest, and I stopped listening to it when my friend lost his battle with depression, it was too painful to listen to. I'm glad to say I'm better now, and I'd just like to tell everyone reading this that you will get through whatever you're going through. I know it doesn't seem like it right now, but you'll get through it and be stronger for going through it
