Death toll rises as nation digs out from massive winter storm

A massive winter storm that dumped intense amounts of snow over parts of the country is now being blamed for 55 deaths, most in the Buffalo, New York area. Michael George reports. (12/27/22)

Winter like mom used to make. More snow and ice on the ground means lower water levels in the sea. Ya got what ya wanted so live it up. I lived in Missouri for 40 years there’s no weather that scares me anymore I remember the blizzard of 82 then I was 3 and the snow was taller then I was. I know enough if it snows stay home.

Maybe more people will take action to be more prepared with wood stoves and food storage etc. this won’t be the last time it will actually get worse since we’re in the sun phase of the grand solar minimum. Weather will get more chaotic the next ten years etc. my pilot husband got stuck in Baltimore this week she should have been home yesterday:/ his gifts are still under the tree.hopefully he will make it today
