Rip Hamilton was absolutely right when he said that if Detroit drafted Melo he'd have at least two rings by now. A young dynamic scorer such as him would be the final puzzle piece to that squad. Chances are, we would also remember him as a better defender than he is now. Stylistically, he'd fit them perfectly and would today without a doubt be considered the greatest generational player alongside LeBron. Nevertheless, top 10 scorer of all time for sure. His jumpshot is a thing of beauty, I could watch him shoot jumpers all day.
