Cathie is definitely a cheer leader for Telsa and is very excited, as we all should be. I am concerned with the interventions and whether people will feel secure just letting their car drive around with no driver. If you need a driver, then that is a different story. No driver, yes. Driver needed, might as well hire an Uber. Will the new AI chips be powerful enough to get the computer requirements over the hump. Has anyone actually done the math on how much revenue they could generate and how realistic that might be given whatever percentage of people willing to put their car on the network? A lot of questions. Looking forward to October 10th.

Every yr for past several yrs she says ark is on a five yr horizon. This to justify poor performance over past yr. But every yr says this same thing ark working for big gains on 5 yr horizon and not short term. Very tiring hearing this repeated each yr. She needs to retire and go away.

Cathie's investment thesis crumbled in February 2021 causing newbie investors in her ETFs to realize over a 4x loss. ARK's investment strategies always crippled the fund's growth at the knees by punishing stocks which succeeded and replacing their excess percentage with stocks with exciting but poor performance. Many of the new stocks fizzled rather than developing in healthy growth s-curves. Very very costly for ARK's retail investors. ARK's fund managers appeared to manage like a bad gambler at a casino, dumping large wagers on impossible bets.
Elon executed poorly with the development of the Tesla Cybertruck. It was/is a huge mistake as it fails to capture a significant EV Utility truck/ SUV market segment. Ford's Bronco models (yes gas) clearly illustrate what the market wanted. Had Elon made a similar vehicle but used the useful tech (not bullet proof doors), in the CT, it would have been a very popular vehicle.

Damn. Now I can not trust Cathie Wood. She made a number of statements that just are not true. And here is the thing - say that everything she said was true - how much do you use a taxi in your life? Will the fact that there is NO DRIVER except a large SKYNET of AI devices get you from A to B - make you feel safer than what we already have? In other words - is this the kind of future most people would want? Then, when anyone uses the term "Trillion dollar industry" - I immediately go "marketing hype".
