One point most miss about the S23 Ultra's 100x zoom is its use as binoculars. It's very cool to pull it out to see distant detail (and brightened) when needed, and even video record when wanted.

I got my s23ultra from an iPhone 13 Pro Max and could not be happier, I used to hate Exynos, and having Snapdragon is a clear upgrade. I still got my iPhone beast for playing games and watching videos (I suspect I like the iPhone screen better, I don't know if it's the screen protector I put on my s23ultra or something else, but I think my iPhone got better video quality, my iPhone got a smart devil screen protector which is far better than any hydrogel screen protector though). The Spen is wonderful, I wouldn't trade it for anything. I used to love my old Galaxy Note and if Samsung would drop the spen support I would probably try another phone or come back to Apple. If only the iPhone would get Apple Pencil support in the future... that would be perfect. 
I had a complete Apple ecosystem: Mac, iPads, Apple TV, AirPods, Apple Watch... I got myself a Galaxy Watch, and I like it better than my Apple Watch, I can do more stuff with it, though I miss the square shape of my Apple Watch. I miss how I could copy something on my phone and paste it directly on my Mac, but I think that's the only feature I really miss. Maybe the easy way to change the AirPods between my Mac and phone? but the Galaxy Buds I had, even though they are a couple of years old, are still pretty good, and they can control the volume, which I had to do it with Siri with my old AirPods Pro.
Getting out of the Apple ecosystem was hard, but it was really worth it.

I bought s23 ultra, it provides great value for the consumer, it is also smoother with no hickups.
I did a test where I opened every application installed on s23 ultra and there was not even a stutter, I was amazed at what Samsung has done.

Samsung matches Apple when it comes to ecosystem. Feature for feature as well as products available. They both have smartphones, smartwatches, Bluetooth headsets, Tablets, Laptops and Samsung have more like refrigerators, washing machines etc. Also Samsung matches them with software features, Airdrop=Quick share. With Quick share you can even share a link for others to download. FaceTime =Duo. Then for laptops and tablets Samsung have their own version of Dual display, side car and Universal control. So please so some research. Anyways Nice comparison 👍🏽

I would see an SGS23 Ultra as more useful than an iPhone and I'll explain why. With the SGS23 Ultra I can do office tasks that I could never do with another Android, much less with an iPhone. That is to say, that on this phone I can sign work documents with the S-Pen and also if I am at my workplace (I am an industrial mechanic) and I want to send my boss an image of the equipment and its parts to be repaired and/or changed, I take the photo and with the S-Pen I point out what I am going to do and send it to him in one go. All of the above is not done by any other device that currently exists. I'm not a fan boy of Samsung and of any other brand, but I like devices that help me minimize time in my work area and thus make things even easier for both me and my company, and that is something remarkable today. IMHO!

I find the S pen to be a very useful feature every phone is distinct and the Note is set apart by the styles and the battery is already fantastic otherwise Note is pointless without a pen.

I have both phones, one for personal use and one for work. While both phones are premium I would choose the iPhone if I could only choose one. The Samsung is cool to “play” with but can’t compare to the iPhone when it comes to overall usage. Both have great battery life, displays, and cameras but when it comes to messaging, video calls, and seamless interaction with the rest of my devices the iPhone blows the Galaxy out of the water.

for people not knowing what this video tells you, let me explain it slowly and don't attack each other over Apple or Samsung. i won't also go into details about both companies since that would make it little to long.

1st) we have people loving the apple products, the safety features, looks of the phone and apps. For the people loving apple phones then the 14 pro max is a great device for you. the camera is sharp and everything works fine, it is a great upgrade if you seek to expand your apple poducts.

2) Samsung came with one of their biggest upgrades since ages, long they been lacking with their exynos chips but they stepped up their game to match apple, not to overthrow apple in any means but by giving android users a phone similar to the Iphone of apple. it has different apps, different security but everything the Iphone 14pro max has does come in the Samsung S23 Ultra. offcourse it is named different, some features are different but when you look long enough, then there is not much difference between the 2.

So if you looking for any phone to get then it comes to your choice, are you an apple fan and love to have the newest apple products? then look no further then the Iphone 14 pro max but if you feel like trying out android and having the same feeling as handeling an Iphone, then the Samsung S23 Ultra is the phone for you. Both companies have their fan base and they are loyal to their products. So fighting here with Apple vs Samsung is not necesary, some people like IOS while others are more Android fans. and the ecosystem he talked about is the fan base since Apple has a strong fan base for ages, Samsung also has some loyal fans but are less outspoken then Apple lovers. Reason for that is Android having many devices and companies while IOS is only Apple. Sure Samsung is a big company making alot daily used products but if i keep talking about that then this long comment will be too long too read. Like i sayed, it is based on you as user if you want to try an android phone as strong and secure as an Iphone or stick to your Iphone.

I was using Samsung flagships and as I am in Exynos region, I tried to switch to Iphone (12 Pro, 13 Pro Max). The last Iphone I used was Iphone 8. First, I probably got used to squared screen on Notes, so media on rounded Iphone screen seem kinda weird. Cameras on Iphone are far more superior. The things that I missed the most, as I'm not into customizing, are multitasking and split screen. With such a powerful hardware, it's insane there is no split screen on Iphones. Easily could handle that and it's quite useful. Resell value with Iphones is better, too. And using Iphone with any device that's not Apple (computers, headphones) is just a nightmare. I got mysef Ultra few days ago, and it's as fast as Iphone 14 Pro Max (maybe even faster) I used before. All in all, you can't go wrong with any of these devices. Iphones have so much potential, I don't think "it just works" should be enough in 2023. Hardcore Apple fans should be more demanding.

All you have to do is look at the front screen on both of them. What do you see? One of them you see a big beautiful display with a little tiny hole for the front facing camera. The other one you see a big fat rounded notch that they laughingly call a dynamic island. The big fat rounded notch eats so much space. No need to look any further.

You should have shown off the ultrasonic fingerprint scanner unlocking the phone when the screen is off rather than turning the display on and then using the scanner. It works just as fast, faster as you don't have to turn on the display

Sometimes I feel like Apple highlights random features like increasing the brightness unnecessarily, there’s no reason do that just tell us it’s the same phone but a se version of last years phone, dont worry we will buy it.

I have a theory about the apple ecosystem. At the top end there isnt much between them, you'll get great devices that work very well in both. The big difference is actually at the lower end. Think base iPads, MacBook airs, airpod gen 3's, iPhone se.

Android and Windows on the cheaper to mid range is a pretty rough and a mixed bag because the support isn't as great due to cost incentives whereas apple supports it's lower end options just as much as the upper end. That's where the perception of the superior ecosystem comes in because at scale, the lower end has far more users than the upper end.

Found face recognition on S23 Ultra works well everytime, no issues. for gaming the S23 is 50% faster
