This video provides instruction on how to replace the engine intake air cleaner on the Acura RDX. This is a 2008 model with the filter being replaced for the first time in January 2012 with 40,000 miles on the vehicle - long overdue for a change! For instructions on how to change the interior cabin air filter see my other video. Thanks for watching and good luck!

Incredibly helpful, and saved a ton compared to what the dealer wanted for this. You were even thoughtful enough to share tricks about the washers, etc. Highly appreciated, and well-done!

I sure appreciate you taking time to do this.  Your video on this and the cabin filter replacement were very good.  I bought both filters, Wix brand, for $40, dealer wanted $140 to replace them.

Thanks man for a very helpful video, the procedure is very easy but nice to know that we can always check the video. The air filter was $20 from the dealership Canadian. They wanted $30 extra to install. Screw that! It takes about 3 minutes to change.

FYI folks... try to get the filter on Amazon. I recommend buying 5-6 of them at once to save on shipping and then you're set to go for 5 years on changing your air filter! I actually change the air filter every other oil change (every 10, 000 miles)

Thank you so much for taking the time to make these videos. Just what I needed to do it myself.

Hey buddy. Can you please make a video on how to change the spark plugs in a RDX. I haven't found any videos on that yet.

Wolfgang51501986 I have a question.
I have an 07 RDX, and the area under the ivtec cover is dirty, so dirty i thought it was the air filter and was going to replace it, is there any way to clean it?or should i not worry about it?
ALso do you change your own oil? I
ve wanted to do it but don't have jack stands so i got to a honda dealer, i was wondering if it was possible to change it by having on side of the car's wheel's on a curb to get to the filter and oil

How much was the filter at the dealer? Any suggestions for ordering online?
