Next Order is not a massively huge game but, towards the beginning of the story, it can be pretty tough to find the efficient enemies to train against. Now, with the re-release of Next Order on Nintendo Switch and PC, this guide will aim to help players succeed and thrive in the game.

As mentioned towards the beginning of the video, fighting enemies in battle can be one of the most effective ways to train and improve your partners. In comparison to training in the gym, not only does battling pass no in game time but you also have the chance to earn multiple stat buffs ( HP, MP, Strength, Stamina, Speed & Wisdom) at once. On top top of this, you also have the opportunity of farming some bits/items on the side.

Now that I've played the game for a few years now, I hope to showcase some of the best enemies for training against in Next Order. The guide itself will take you chronologically through a route of these opponents and show the individual recommended stats and caps of each spot. I understand that not every spot will be useful for each viewer, but hopefully by making a wide list, I can help the most players possible.

In the guide, I start with two Rookies, Guilmon and Patamon, and take them around the map to different training spots. By the end of the video, I will have worked them all the way upto their respective Mega forms, with almost max stats. Hopefully this will let you guys see the individual requirements recommended for each area, and the potential benefits that you can receive from each training spot.

Remember that your stats gained after fighting a battle are capped at +24 for STR, STM, SPD etc. This is unless you have the extra tamer skills that buff your gains to +25 and +26. It's not really worth while to fight enemies that are wayyyy stronger than your partners as you will only receive a certain amount of rewards back.

As a mini disclaimer, different types of digimon may be able to beat some enemies easier than others. This will be particularly true if you have an elemental advantage over your opponent, water beats fire, etc. Along the same vein though, some digimon may struggle against others if they are naturally weak against their enemy's type. Keep this in mind when you train and when observing the examples mentioned on screen. If you go to a particular training spot and find it easy/too difficult, then move onto one of the others.

Anyways, I hope this Guide was useful for you guys. I worked a lot on these videos, so it would be great if they helped out the Digimon community even a little. Make sure to share your own Next Order tips in the comments!

There's a lot of info here and I've tried to keep things as compact as possible. Any questions, feel free to ask! Good luck <3

These recommendations are the real deal.
From my previous no guide attempt with 3k stats across the board for my megas, I went to 5-6k all around for my Ultimates as we speak. 10/10 can recommend.

Thanks for the guide! Before, my Megas would struggle against Ultimates. Now, I have Rookies (Gen 3 Age 2 at the time of this post) who can easily fight Ultimates, including BlackWereGarurumon lmao.
Also, since I couldn't access Absolute Zero yet I went straight to WaruSeadramon. My Rookie partner Digimon stats during the first fight with WaruSeadramon were: HP and MP in the mid 5000s; other stats in the low 2000s except; speed was in the high 2000s. I set low MP skills and used Specials for my main damage.

Another important thing I want to mention that will massively help the Wizardmon/Sorcerimon and SnowAgumon spot, or any of them really is tent resets. You have ten charges of the tent at max level so use them just to reset for better times! You can easily reset the Wizardmon/Sorcermon spot nine times with the tent, or eight times if you want to save one charge for a rest and it will save you a LOT of time walking. I did this on PS4 every generation and cap the spot with rookies if I'm post-game.

This tips very useful to every Digimon game from ps1, psp and now. Even though I don't have this game but still the method is useful, I can finally learn this way when I already have this game

I watched the original iteration of this video a couple of years ago when I was struggling with the game on PS4. I couldn't get past chapter 2.

The guide got me some incredible megas that blasted me through to end game, where I hit the roadblock of Samudramon and Kuzuhamon.

Using it again now. Still the goat

Absolute legend! This guide helped make my 2nd gen at least somewhat useful even though I was story blocked with machinedramon being in stepstep at the time. Spent today getting my 3rd gen "Absolutely Cracked" and I couldn't thank you enough!
