After some part of the game's story, you can expand the town and unlock the Dojo.
If you recruit Grapleomon into the town, he will appear at the Dojo
He will allow you to see your digmon's evolution chart and tell you how close you are to meeting a form's conditions
He will also allow you to block unwanted forms as well later on

It really makes it easier to get certain digimon that you want

Please consider doing more digimon videos. I mostly play pokemon but I watched your TemTem and Coromon series and have been interested in digimon so having a creator I like do content is more likely going to sway to pick the game up than actually hunting down info on my own.

As someone who has many hours in this game, the "known" digimon (as in the ones everyone knows, tamer cast digimon) have much higher stat requirements to evolve them into who you want, so it's recommended to not pick them first. If you fail to meet any conditions, you'll get numamon, while not terrible, might make you struggle a bit starting out. The non digimon cast mons have a lot less Stat requirements, so start with them if you are new!

I don't think it's a bad thing for you to make guides on the game even if others exist if it's what you wanna do.
You're good at explaining things, it's a fresh release, people like the style of your videos, and sometimes it's just nice having a more modern video done up, especially from a creator you know so you don't have to go searching for them

I got my game delivered on launch date. I knew nothing about the game.
I closed my eyes, spammed right and chose my eggs and I'll probably do the same when the life cycle repeats. :D I'm surprised of how much fun I'm having with this game, even though it bodied me like hell in the beginning.

An advanced digivolution guide would be SWEET AF! There may be guides out there, but most are text based, and especially on high-fatigue days I soak up knowledge more easily in a visual format. Sorry if I'm asking a bit much there, but that's my honest feedback!

I've never played this game until it came to the Switch and I love it! I don't understand why some reviewers rate it so badly. An advanced evolution guide would help me greatly, so if you do one of those I'd really appreciate it!

This is a good guide but really newbies need a guide way beyond rookie stage because the longer you can keep your digimon alive the more time you have to power them up and digivolve higher and in turn do more of the games content. Tons of these digimon have requirements that are near unatainable on your first, second, or even third generation. Which can make the game feel even slower than it already is and potentially be frustrating.

Originally I also wanted Guillomon and was sad I got Solarmon, but after awhile I came to love the gears digimon because of how strong it was carrying, now it’s a Blue fire boi and it kicks butt, totally forgot that World followed the og rules

In old Digimon yes any Digimon can evolve into branching families. However if you do a correct family tree you get higher stats and exclusive moves. The food you give it, the amount of time leveling and who their fighting are hidden mechanics that alters their growth. Like Vaccine gets more XP from Virus types. Data gets more XP from Vaccine. VIRUS gets more XP from data types. Then pairing the families
