I tried this on a cherry top a put on my mobile bench press cabinet/stand. I only had 2000 grit but worked as advertised. I build shop furniture as if it’s going into a home to skill build and I hate ugly stuff, but it’s great to practice different finishing methods on. All but one is finished with Odies. The only other one was because I wanted to use up the Rubio I was not happy with. You never see people complaining about rubios price for some reason, Odies goes waaaay further and looks waaaay better. Surface prep and follow the directions

So many questions about what to use on solid white oak flooring.

Does this mean you could finish in 320grit apply odies oil then sand with 4000 and re apply for the same effect? Would cut out alot of sanding? Could you wet trizact 3000 or even 6000 with safer solvent 1-2 days after original application?

Awesome! Can you apply the same technique on laminate? I have a mid century table with formica (laminate) top that's has become dull and blurry. Can I lightly sand with 4000grit and then apply Odies?

Just what I’m looking for, thx! At the very end you say you can level down but you don’t say how. Buff with a lower grit and re-apply?

Hi team Odies, i wonder no need to wait 30 or 45 mn for second coat ? We can directly buff off when we apply ?

Was there an Odie’s Oil finish on that piece before you buffed it to 4000? If so, did the additional buffing gum up the pad?

Just wondering the 4000 grit pad, is that sandpaper or an abrasive pad? Or can use either?

Transition from 220 to 4000 grit without intermediate steps? Did not you missed several grit steps between 220 and 4000, like sequence of 220 -> oil -> 800 -> 1000 -> 2000 -> 4000 -> oil ?
