Thanks for having me on! A few things to address in the comments:

1. I started out during lockdown filming videos at my dining table with my wife editing them. It wasn't always a big studio or large team.

2. As success grew I started to scale the team, buy better equipment, and double down. But I would guess my first 50k subs were with the Sony a6400 and one person helping me edit.

3. If you have a job and you think you don't have the time to do it, you're making excuses. Sorry to be harsh but thats the reality. I run multiple businesses and I have many friends that do the same. I decided to devote thousands of hours to studying and filming videos, they didn't because they were too "busy". You can do anything you want if you truly want it bad enough.

So if you're an aspiring creator, get rid of your false beliefs. You have the time, resources, and talent to succeed. It just has to be a priority.

I started June, 2020. Once you get momentum, the growth is one crazy ride!

I follow him on social media. He is definitely consistent. He posts all over social media like 5 to 10 times a day. He also has an entire team to help him make this happen...
That takes so much dedication but I find it difficult to do if you also have a job that takes up so much of your time.

It's crazy to see the growth of some channels within a one year time span. I just hit 3k subscribers within 10 months and I thought that was somewhat impressive! No matter what though, I always stay focused on my own goals and not like others distract myself from my own successes!

As hard as it may seem it is possible to grow on YouTube so we should never give up as content creators.

Appreciate the content but using this guy as an example of how to get to 100k subs is a little misleading. Clearly he had a large following before YouTube and a budget way beyond anyone watching this (cue $100, 000 studio tour video).
I’d like to see how smaller channels get from 1k-10k using real world examples of what we are all able to achieve.

Great advice, as an introvert I find networking hard. So I have to push myself to get around other creators more!

Wow, amazing. To me this seems almost impossible and unattainable as I've been actively posting for like 6 months now, but I still hope I'll reach 100 subs before the end of my first year on YouTube, that's my milestone 😊

Changing titles and thumbnails has made a huge difference in views for myself too!
YouTube is different because on the internet- we do judge a book by its cover first before the creator is well known.

I started my cooking/baking channel back in December but then got pregnant and could not film or edit while barely dragging my feet through each day so for 2 months I didn't post anything!! I am back now but I'm struggling to find time to edit. I have sooo many ideas for videos but editing keeps me back. I might have to outsource editing if I want to put out all the ideas I have. 🤷‍♀️

Consistency is really hard especially with school but I will definitely push myself. Just started a few months ago. Good luck to everyone on their journey to 100K!
