Two points. First regarding your theory about Godzilla's atomic breath in Space. Saying his blast would just disapate as a cloud of light is like saying the firey spear of thrust from a rocket would become a glowing ball of gas after leaving the atmosphere.

Second is that Godzilla can survive anything that the story needs and the writers say he can in any given plot, so...

Got a video idea for you: We have a Monsterverse version of Godzilla, Mothra, Rodan, Kong and King Ghidorah, but what would other Toho monsters look like if they were integrated into the MV? I would love to see a grounded approach for every single Toho monster tbh.

My understanding is that Godzilla (whatever version one would care to name) still needs oxygen to breathe. The Big G's body could certainly withstand the intense cold, lack of atmospheric pressure and radiation. However, I think he'd eventually suffocate due to lack of oxygen.

I was thinking you would say Godzilla would somehow absorb the cosmic radiation around him and either rapidly evolve from that to maneuver through space or shutdown his body to a point where he doesn't require oxygen and just survive on excess radiation on end.

Still the big G is a real one for being able to survive for a bit out there!

It honestly depends on which Godzilla we are talking about.

Legendary maybe, Zilla hell no, Heisei most likely. But if we want a Godzilla that can be garanteed to survive? My money goes on the comic version of Godzilla, the one that not only survived and nearly destroyed hell, but killed all the greek gods as well. If any version can do it, that one can

For film versions that are most likely, i'd say Shin Godzilla due to it's body being able to adapt and change it's body to survive it's enviroments, so as long as it can remain solid and functional it can transform into a form built for space

I think most of this is accurate but the breath is most likely gas’s based as we see it act more flame like in multiple monster verse movies. Because of this it would still have pushing power because it would act like rocket fuel. You could argue that the opening of his mouth would pull all of the atomic breath out of him at once because of space being a vacuum but even then light creates thrust in space so he would still move back towards earth if his breath is properly angled.

Godzilla’s atomic breath isnt just radiation, it is concentrated radioactive plasma, which would propel him, just like how he used it in Godzilla Vs Hedorah

An idea for a dramatic scene where we see SpaceGodzilla grab Godzilla and take him in to space with the camera changing angles and as we get to the point where SG lunches/hurls Godzilla into the abyss we get a close up of one of his eyes as tears flow out the camera stops we hear Godzilla's paind crys as he drifts away camera change to pov of him reaching out to earth but to no avail change back to in front of Godzilla as he continues to float away into ininfinite darkness he goes alone

Went down about how I expected with a no on legendary godzilla, and a mixed bag of possibilities with Heisei and Millennium, I mean the cells of heisei created space godzilla, and Millennium survived a black hole exploding in its face.

There is something that isn't brought up in here that will need to be seriously considered, radiation. We saw in king of the monsters how detonating a nuke in his face basically super charged him. Well in space there is tons of radiation. Our atmosphere filters out most of it. Who is to say it wouldn't keep revitalizing him. Potentially even making him stronger and stronger. Boom! Space godzilla orgins in the new movies confirmed. lol
