@BeeBootylicious There quite obviously is an appropriate/inappropriate dress code to prom. It even says on my invitation "formal dress only" and, yes, these dresses may come under the category 'dressy' but in my opinion they would not be appropriate to wear to prom because I see them as more of a 'party dress' than prom material. Everyone to their own.

I'm sorry but how on earth are any of these styles appropriate for prom? I'd wear 3 out of 4 of those dresses to a party, definitely not to prom.
