How to Change a Blade in a Stanley FatMax Utility Knife

This video will demonstrate and show you how to remove and replace the blade on the Stanley FatMax Utility Knife. This box cutter works very well and has extra blades stored in the body of the knife. These knifes are constructed with a rugged metal body for durability. The rapid load blade changing system does not require the use of tools. New blades can be held in the knife’s blade storage.

5 years after you posted this, it's still helpful. Couldn't figure it out, now I know, thank you! The blade release on mine is a red button just to the front of where yours is, but works just the same

Thank you so much!! I figured SOMEONE MUST have a video on this!! I’ve been sitting in my car for the last ten minutes frustrated after purchasing one because the holder wouldn’t grab the blade lol. Couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong!!! The directions on package were very vague. So I appreciate this very much!!!!

You are a lifesaver! I've been taking my knife apart to change the razor in it and cussing the whole way. I kept wondering how could Stanley make a utility knife like this. I always wondered what the little red button was for. That's what you get for not looking at the directions. Now I'm a happy camper! Thank you Stanley for having a video on a utility knife.
