i've been a huge fan of the stanley parable since the original came out but i've been realizing lately i've never so much as mentioned it here ._. so here's an animation-

I always imagined the Narrator was outside the map looking down like Stanley is a small toy in a dollhouse, just imagine Stanley looks up and it's just the Narrator sipping tea while sitting near a fireplace, watching

I had always invisioned the Stanley Parable in an alternate universe being an [adult swim] show about Stanley and his mysterious Narrator friend getting into all sorts of whacky metaphysical situations, a bit like a mix of Rick and Morty and The Office but with a better budget.

honestly, the stanley parable could translate to an episodic series pretty damn well. where you have shows like spongebob or phineas and ferb that start the same, end the same, and can be watched in any order, versus shows with a longer-burning narrative, the stanley parable could strike a nice middle ground as a story that always starts the same per episode but diverges into its own story more as time goes on, always ending in a different way. meanwhile an overarching meta-narrative could be happening behind the scenes, shown in short clips or little remarks by the narrator that suggest that maybe he's seen you do all of this more times than he lets on
