In that part, the Light Fury growls because she really doesn't understand why Toothless growled at her. He mainly did because she was stepping on his drawing. But after they both stop, you can see in the movie how she looks down at the drawing for a short period of time, understanding why Toothless growled at her and circles the drawing to get to him.

He bowed down to her and only her. That's what a real king and gentleman looks like he won't bow down to anyone or anybody but he will only dow down to his queen and repeat her as she repeat him and loves him the same way he loves her🥹
