This touched me in the wrong way. This book is phenomenal. I personally value everyone having their own preferences, but this is mine. You can’t just say that this book was confusing, you just don’t know how to read between the lines. It’s like saying Shakespeares work is confusing! This book is a literary achievement! A masterpiece, and using your platform to give a preference rather then an actual coherent review is misleading people. Which means you need to understand what giving a review means, or just stop giving them.

Question, if you did not like this one, which of her books do you like? All of her books have all of those elements that you said you did not like (magical realism, having to re-read pages, going back and forth through time, etc). You stated at the beginning you love her. Which of her books do you like?

Just finished today. Was pretty good. Not my favorite from her though

Once I watched the movie I was able to understand a lot of the things from the book that didn’t make sense.

I enjoyed both but I totally understand how it can be annoying and confusing to read.
